A Kind deed done in time of need though small, is of more value than the world itself.

BCA instituted some scholarships for the deserving and meritorious Bunt Students. In the 80’s BCA Delhi earmarked Rs. 7000 as the principle amount for scholarship. The interest of this amount  i.e. Rs. 750 per year was given to toppers of Delhi Kannada School. Subsequently, during the year 2000, the corpus was raised to Rs. 60,000, there by raising fund available for scholarships to Rs.5500 per annum, thanks to the generous contributions from Vijaya Bank team. This has received appreciation of the School Management and PTA of Delhi Kannada School.

Mr. Sanjay Jain, A PHILATHROPIST has committed to give Rs.5000 per annum to be given as financial assistance to two needy students of Delhi Kannada School through BCA.

Every year BCA Delhi has been giving a cash merit award of Rs.1000 each to the children of its members for scoring highest marks in the 10th and 12th Board Exams.

A special scholarship fund of Rs.1,00,000 favoring poor meritorious Bunts students opting for a technical course was initiated by a donation of Rs.50,000 from

Mrs. & Mr. Suresh Shetty and Rs. 50,000 from the BCA Delhi. The first recipient of this scholarship was an Engineering student of Shimoga, son of a rickshaw driver from Mangalore. The second recipient, Ms Kirti Marla is currently pursuing her Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree in Sullia.

Mr. Vaman S. Poonja, a Patron Member of BCA, sponsored the educational expenses of the two daughters of Mr. Damodar Shetty, an employee of   Qutub Hotel.

Mr. Rammohan Rai, a Patron of BCA has informed that he would be instituting a scholarship corpus in the memory of his late mother, Mrs. Vimala Rai, details are to be announced shortly.
